[SOLVED] Error icon Outlook 2016 Control Panel

    Install Outlook 2016, then uninstall it

    Maybe Windows was retarded enough to think you had installed it with Office

    Or try setting another client as default mail app

    It didnt work. I install and uninstall it and is still there. I select Repair in the installation program and see what happens

    Contact Microsoft, sounds like a Windows problem, I think I've seen rouge control panel icons for things I don't have installed too

    I will contact to the US support because if I contact to the Spanish support they will say: You need to create a local account and finish the chat session.

    Here's how to fix it:

    Press Windows key + R and put gpedit.msc and hit enter
    Go to User Settings-Administrative Templates-Control Panel and search for Hide specified Control Panel items click it and select enabled and Show. A box will appear and now write the things that you don't want to see in the Control Panel click in Accept and Apply.
