Aren't most of the options in the editor gone after deleting the PolicyDefintions folder? Makes it a utility with virtually nothing to work with.
You can just ok the two errors and go on and use the utility. As I said the fix seems to throw out the baby with the bath water by rendering the utility a useless shell.
Is there a way to check this ? Ps did put PolicyDefinitions form image back to windows folder and it should have the original defenitions back but the error is gone now even after uninstalling Windows 10 Group Policy (.ADMX) Templates
After the folder is gone there's just very few options inside the utility. Still have the error. There's got to be a more limited fix than just removing the whole folder.
Same here, I only use it once when I first install the OS but my OCD will not allow me to live with such an error even if I never use it, it has to be perfect
No, you haven't. Absurd overkill. Delete WinStoreUI.admx and WinStoreUI.adml under the language folder(s) Rename WindowsStore.admx to WinStoreUI.admx Rename WindowsStore.adml to WinStoreUI.adml
I don't have WinStoreUI policy here? the fix is just to grab WindowsStore.adml from build 14295 (or 14316), and replace the current one
I'm running 10586.218 (threshold2), but it looks like you're getting the replacement file from insider builds. Can you use a replacement from an insider build with 10586 and if so can you upload it somewhere so we can use it? Thanks!
