    Gunna have to have a re think about my images. I did not realise V.Media don't allow large files to be uploaded onto their free webspace.

    I can walk you trough the steps to make your own if needed.

    :(

    @tnx

    The first ISO is basically same as SP2 Pro retail ISO. If you enter Pro serial, it will not prompt for 2nd disc & installs Pro; else if you enter MCE/TPC serial, then it prompts for 2nd disc & installs accordingly.

    So the basic principle is same - just edit the setupp.ini & optionally change the OEMBIOS set.

    Cheers for that info.

    Will have to find a key for MC.
    Might just give making an OEM disc, if even for my own sake.

    Why not try Windows 7? I've got it running very well on computers that predate yours by a couple of years. Single core CPUs and PATA drives.

    Solved

    I would like to say that my problem has been officially solved, for that I have to give my sincerest thanks to tnx. tnx was extremely patient with my lack of knowledge in this issue, but was able to fully walk me through the whole process of making my own HP OEM disc. :D Although there was some trial and error involved, it all worked out and all the kinks are currently ironed out.

    Also thank you 911medic & Tito for giving me back-up plans to fall onto in case tnx's patience would've run out. :p

    Now all that is left for me is to read up on the different threads that are available on this website.

    On that note, Happy New Year to everyone!
