Sorry if this is off topic but did not want to start another thread, Well I never, a old lady friend of mine called yesterday, I had put Windows 7 on her computer, which was rather old, with her spec's it would not run windows 10, and told her never to try to put it on as it would not work, well she called yesterday and told me, she woke up and turned on her PC, wam, it said, Welcome to Windows 10, she had asked me before telling me please not to yell at her, she told me she thought her husband had done it, she said she had been yelling at him about it, he denied it, I told her not to breathe, come get me and I would try and fix it, she did, and after talking to her husband, I was convinced he did nothing, her screen did say Welcome to Windows 10 with a next button below, I clicked on next and there was what I was looking for, accept or decline the Forceware, I declined clicked next, and it said installing previous OS. Man, I could see how this could cause alot of problems for people, I told the lady she owed her husband a big apology, my question is I can't remember where it would be downloaded to and can I simply delete it, maybe My Dear Paul Desmond knows or anyone, thanks, Forceware, this is insane.

the new GWX is changed, if you close the X on the scheduled time window.. have to click change schedule or cancel to actually stop it now.

boot linux live and delete the $BT.*** folder.
reboot ruin gwx control panel and done

i had one yesterday that would loop back to logon screen on click of their name..didnt even ask for the pwd..
had to pull power cord 3 times till it let me get troubleshoot menu.

yes.. ive done it. it boots slow first time.. takes extra minute.

but if already on 10.. just do the restore previous build.
had a few that hung on restartign.. then the hard shutdown restart showed restoring.. took 20 mins or so

once in 7.. use gwx control panel. mirror at majorgeeks
