Hi, I am running MS Office 2019 on a Windows 10 PC. The C2R installer has installed all components including MS Outlook 2019. When I run Outlook 2019, it forces me to configure an email Account. I tried selecting Manual email setup but come what may it shows this screen of account setup. If I cancel this screen, the Outlook simply shuts down. I remember in earlier versions like way back in v2003 or so you could just start the Outlook and connect & view your .PST file in it even without any account being setup. Is there any way to run Outlook 2019 offline without any sort of Mail Account for the first time? I may not have an account yet or may be I could be offline for a while. The app should run and allow me to see the interface for the time being before I create & configure an email account in Outlook.
Thanks for asking I noticed that if you upgrade from outlook 2016 to 2019, you can keep an "old" outlook.pst without email
Finally I figured it out...kept searching on Google. outlook.exe /PIM "ProfileName" Then next time you wish to start outlook with the same profile just type outlook.exe /profiles Now outlook shows profile drop down to select. This opens the Outlook 2019 Interface without any email account.
