No problem, i was glad to help, now you have to use the new iso created after i add the oem folder into the iso, so use the iso called win7_ultimate_x64_OEM.iso to make bootable usb using that iso.
I told you before, DAZ Windows Loader does NOT inject any slic in the bios, it emulates n OEM bios with slic in the bootsector.
Daz told me that the tool injects a SLIC table into ACPI tables and thus fools windows thinking that you use machine which is bought with pre installed os.
Really, did daz also tell you it's gone at formatting or fixing boot problems? The Loader part is emulated in the bootsector and gone when reformatted at clean install.
Still: problem solved! Next time I have a "humongous problem", hopefully Enthousiast will rescue me (i hope)
It has nothing to do with who helped you, it has to do with the constant misinformation provided by @mehdibleu blue. Your system seems to have a slic table inside the BIOS, as i asked here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...activation-oem-add-folder.76471/#post-1412967 If the system didn't have a valid slic, MRP wouldn't have been able to activate the install.
please, don't be dismissive, which misinformation did i give in this thread ? i didn't even say that the slic is injected in the bios but said that is injected in ACPI tables as DAZ said to me few months ago, i have to say that i'm tired of all your snide remarks towards me, be respectfull and stop being dismissive.
True, but the point in the thread was to help a new member, I can“t see anybody help exept mehdibleu. I know I was rather pointless but other contributed to. Friends?
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...tion-oem-add-folder.76471/page-2#post-1412999 & https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...activation-oem-add-folder.76471/#post-1412993 = Nonsense.
I know..mehdibleu "on his knees in front of you" "sorry, wrong statement" As I recall, mehdibleu helped a forum member!
No, i am not saying DAZ told you nonsense, i am telling he didn't tell you that it was done to a real BIOS. You misunderstood and now you're repeating the misunderstood info.
That sounds like something I would say, but I was talking about the actual boot loader. The Windows application will first install a certificate and key and then it'll check if you're activated. If you aren't then it'll install the custom boot loader.
ok , just to be clear, if you activate your win7 using your loader then format the hard drive to do a clean install later, will the slic table be still present in the bios after reformatted the hard drive or it will be gone ?
