History: I am not sure if this info is urgent, but... About a year ago, I have purchased a laptop with installed Windows 8 on it (probably Core Edition, but I am can not remember). I have formatted laptop's HDD, and then installed Windows 7 on it (which was been activated by using one of popular loaders). While using installed Windows I have experienced some problems with drivers so I have installed Windows 8 back, by using MSDN installation disk image (and again, I did not remember, which edition I choose). If I remember carefully, Windows has been successfully activated automatically, and I have no any problems then. Then I moved on Linux so I erased my HDD again...

Questions: I want to use activated Windows 8.1 in virtual machine. I know that I can install Windows 8 on VHD (with provided ACPI tables) and then upgrade to Windows 8.1.

    I want to know:

    1. Are there possibility that I will experience a some activation problems with Windows 8 in future when installing it on my laptop?
    2. Are activation will be successful?
    3. Can I repeat this process? If so, then how many times?
P.S.: I'm sorry for possible errors, English is not my native language. Hope that this question did not violates any of forum rules.

Just use the Enterprise version of 8.1 and MTK 2.6 for to activate. That should answer all your 3 questions.
