I have no idea about what you say, I have never seen it What about having configured MSI Center so that the laptop only loads up to 60%, but sometimes loads up to 58%/59% or 61%/62% and even after deleting the partition where MSI Center is installed? and reinstall Windows 11 without installing MSI? Middle after, the laptop still charges only to 60% (or close to). How is this possible?
It was you who mentioned cards, not me, and now you state you don't know what I mean. It's me who doesn't understand what you mean (and from the start). Are you just repeating what I'm asking? What kind of english is that?
So, whenever fast startup is enabled and after installing all drivers from Windows Update or MSI website, I have keyboard input lag when inserting Windows 11 local user password. It lasts approximately 10 seconds. My laptop is a MSI Katana B12VGK.
Even after updating MSI Center, it asks to restart the PC but after doing that, Windows still forever hangs stating it's installing updates and to not turn off the PC. I'm forced to press the PC's power button again until the PC turns off and after turning it on and running MSI Center, the latter still works.
How about do clean install of w.10 ltsc Do basic tweaks to remove some crap & install drivers from windows update service only Check if it fix your problems ...
I prefer Windows 11 and I already use NTLite to remove some crap and only use Windows Update to install drivers. Anyway, what does that have to do with problem? I guess I could try disabling startup service by startup service in Msconfig but that would take ages since there's a lot of them, not to mention the ones regarding Microsoft, so it's not worth it. EDIT: I guess I could try reinstalling Windows 11, disabling Windows Update for it to not install drivers since it does it in a row and because of that I wouldn't know which one causes the problem, installing MSI Center and use it to install one driver at a time to find out which one causes this problem.
Why should I only install drivers from Windows Update? It was a driver installed by it that caused this issue in the first place.
I just found out nothing happens when typing on the Start Menu while in Safe Mode. EDIT: Now it does, but only after clicking the Start Menu's bar, and the text has lag and appears duplicated. I also have this problem after a clean install. EDIT 2: I was also told by MSI technical support to disable Fast Startup to not have the lag issue when inserting the user account password.
I found out if I use the 22621.1972 build instead of the 22621.1 one, the characters take approximately 3 seconds to appear instead of 10. This is odd since they take 10 seconds to appear if integrating the KB502795 CU on the 22621.1 build to bump it to 22621.1972 or if installing the mentioned CU on the 22621.1 build. I thought using the 22621.1972 build or integrating the mentioned CU on the 22621.1 one was the same thing and I was told to always use the .1 build when integrating updates.
have you tried driver booster.? for me it didnt find any drivers. but driver booster did. i also face some lags but not on lockscreen. i face lag when i turn on laptop if i want to click on the networks in task bar it takes seconds to load. like 10 seconds. when i clikc on my wifi and go to open edge theres a 2 second lag. programs takes few seconds longer than W10. also fins that some part of the screen icons arent clickable. and last search takes seconds to load too. i have 0 lag at lockkscreen and takes 1 second to show desktop...
Yes, and I have the same issue. If I disable fast startup, I don't have it. I contacted MSI and I was told I should have no lag so it's not normal.
you run it stock clean install.? mean no tweaks just clean install and run windows.? have you tried other versions of w11.? have you tried .wim or .esd format of the ISO.
Yes. I only installed the mentioned driver and even used an ISO created by Microsoft's Media Creation Tool. Yes, I tried other builds and editions as well as ISOs with install.wim and install.esd and I always had this issue.
