I noticed a similiar Problem (or maybe it is by design?). I use a VL Version of Office 2016. Actual version on my System (Windows 10): 16.0.4405.1000. On another machine i installed latest Office 2016 Pro Plus C2R and noticed that this has a newer build Version: 16.0.7070.2028. I know that VL versions will be updated via Windows update. I got some updates each time, but These seems to be only Security Updates. So my question - why didn't i got a Office 2016 update which updates it to the latest Version? Is there a delay by Microsoft by design or why didn't i get the update?
