    Hey All,

I was running through forums after forums for a way to reactivate my sppsvc (helps activate windows) because it would not run and i tried cmd methods and sfc scans and chdsk and third party programs.

I just wanted to activate my windows which I have a license cd of and it just would not activate. Then I ran across this forum and found a great suggestions from darrell

"What is the start value of the spldr driver>open regedit, HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\spldr
    Should be 0
I have see that error message when that driver is disabled."

I did that and found it was set to 4. I set it back to 0 and then rebooted and Bam! sppsvc service was running again. To check the services and manually run them go to the windows search bar and type in service.msc it will pop up as service and then go down to Software Protection Properties aka sppsvc. I found it running when I did this and if you guys had frustration on this as well i hope this helped.
