    Got it!

    thx to @Serg008 for modding the BIOS to SLIC 2.4 and to @Tito for helping me with the XrML install.
    Now W2016 Standard Edition is activated and working like a charme!

    BTW: what about a newer version of Srv 2016?
    W10 is at 1803 and Srv still stuck at 1607...

    The upcoming 1809 build will be Server 2019, and you'll need SLIC 2.5 to activate it.

    ... can the OEM:SLP Key from this thread be used or will we have to wait for a newer one?
