The Media Feature Pack is only for the N Editions of Windows (crippled EU version). It is not applicable to non-N versions.

If you have an N version, try the non-N one, as even the Media pack will not convert it to a full one.

If your windows is a N version, you need the media feature pack to go on par with non N versions.

You don't need the newest, you need "the right" package for your windows major build (from microsoft, not from a random website).

Just google for "media feature pack".

Then you may need to reapply the latest cumulative upgrade to get the added components upgraded to their latest minor build.

Unless it's a really old W10 release, DISM can restore the Media Pack:
    Code:
    DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:Media.MediaFeaturePack~~~~0.0.1.0

BRAVO @12 lb Turkey!!! DISM is DA WORD! Worked like a charm!

Thanx to others for responding in good will, too.

And yes, it was the EU N version of Education Win10, newest 22H2, as stated...

If you bothered to check the links you are sending you would see that this is NOT resolving anything, simply because those options needed for installing it are NOT offered in Win10 (Optional features etc.). Yes, this is the first step anyone does and NO, it does not work, obviously...

I researched a lot, tried all sorts and NONE of these options worked with a RECENT version of W10. Most of them stopped working after 1903. And I did state it was the latest W10 and student edition, obviously N, because it was missing "it"...

    But OK...
