Well, i have both updates installed and don't have an issue.. so it's not something global yet :D
let's see what MS would say

don't forget that KB2956575 is a recommended update that delivers new Store improvements features

could you try the process with KB2956575, and spare (do not integrate) KB2959977?

This isn't a problem on my main system, but with integration :g:.

Yep, can confirm this. Integrated all May Updates except KB2956575 and my test install proves WU working this time. Seems one should avoid integrating that nasty Store Upgrade.

Nope, didn't face that issue in x64 either

used en_windows_8.1_professional_vl_with_update_x64_dvd_4065194.iso, integrated all updates (except .NET3.5)
and tried three install situations, two with local account and one with MS account:
    1- Normal install
2- Audit install, sysprep/generalize, captured new image and used it for new install
3- Audit install, dism/resetbase, sysprep/generalize, captured new image and used it for new install

since murphy78's project have same result, that might leaves us with a non-english iso related cause :g:
    although i doubt that

I think that kb2956575 cant integrate in mode off line by dism (i dont use sysprep and capture here, only dism) i think be it cause corruption in WU,however if do you install this kbs 2956575 in my system by WU,not have problem, only by integration off line(dism) happens.:)

Conclusion: Don't dism KM2956575 for offline integration, otherwise WU system gets corrupted. Right?

After differerent integration attempts i did a test install and started WU, which showed always an error. When checking the help options it offers a diag.cab that finds corruption but is unable to fix.

Hmm, good to know. This is the very first time i encounter a problem with integration of Win 8/8.x updates.

Tested different WIMs as base here though, started with my April update version and then did it from scratch with Win 8.1 with update vanilla one. I also installed the Vanilla to VM and updated in Audit Mode. As far as i installed the May Updates WU was broken :g:.

I think the problem only occurs with non-english versions. There's probably some localization stuff missing or something

Remembered that i installed the May Updates on my main system offline after gathering them with WHD. When checking WU afterwards KB2956575 with 27 kb was offered additionally again. Maybe that's the problem on some localizations :g:.
