    Hi Gents,

For Windows 7 (I skipped Win 8) there was a Cyber Friend (I forgot his name - sorry ) who consolidated all the Windows Updates into one executable file. This great idea was called a Simplix Pack to update Win7.

Does the same exist for Windows 10?

    Thanks for the assist.

    Umm... any misunderstanding here?

    1. The post is from 18 Nov 2015, but updated regularly.
    2. It does include info regarding latest April updates.
    3. In your case, the cumulative update in KB3147458 & the flash update is KB3154132.

Drew's links are always latest, perhaps you read them incorrectly? You should consider googling slipstream updates into windows 10 so you can have the very latest patches already on the install disk.

There are only 4 (when servicing stack isn't superseded by the Cumulative already, otherwise it's 3) updates. The 2 Tito has mentioned plus the OOBE ZDP "KB3116278" (for 100% downloadfree clean install) and the Servicing stack "KB3140741".

    Gentlemen,

First of all you guys are amazing. Thanks for the assist. :worthy:

So all I need to do is download these three Updates and run them after first install:

    Order:
    Servicing Stack......: KB3140741
    Security Update.....: KB3154132
    Cumulative Update.: KB3147458 ..

Is there any post on how to slipstream them into a Win10 Pro 64 image? (It's been years since I did that so your guidance would be appreciated.)

I really love this Forum ;)

You are thinking in terms of Windows 7, and the several hundred non-cumulative updates which take days to download and install. It really is rather pointless to do this with Windows 10 since all updates are cumulative which means even several years from now, there will only be that one cumulative update to install.

    Hi Gents,

I do appreciate all the posts and links but it seems I don't have enough practice or training to follow the relatively (at least for me) cryptic instructions I've read. Can someone just advise how to download and then run the 3 files needed

    (Servicing Stack......: KB3140741
    Security Update.....: KB3154132
    Cumulative Update.: KB3147458)

So I can just put them on a stick and do it manually after first install?

Sorry to be such a newbie at this. Your efforts are appreciated. :worthy:

Downloading 3 msu files (downloadlinks provided by drew84, abbodi1406 and some more) and executing them after windows install is not so difficult.

Ok so if I do a clean install of Windows 10....All I need to do is install the Windows 10 Cumulative Update May, 2016(KB3156421)..and I'm up to date? I went to the above page about installing 4 different downloads including KB3156421.....Aren't they all covered in this May cumulative? Little more clarity for me would be appreciated.

Cumulative update doesn't 'cover' servicing stack or adobe flash player
so you first need servicing stack KB3140741
    then cumulative KB3156421
    and lastely flash KB3163207

All you do is install Windows, then check for updates. Install updates. It is really pretty simple.

You are thinking of Windows 7 with its hundreds of updates. Windows 10 updates real fast.
