Some wishful thinking

    I was wondering, why not invest in a KMS server, get legit licenses for Win 8 and let everyone on MDL (and ONLY MDL) activate their copy/copies of Windows on it.

    Thoughts?

    Because as soon as you do it you breach the VL agreement and your copies would be as illegal as if they were activated with an emulator. And an emulator is much cheaper and easier to use.

    Then what happens to servers like the one that got opened the last weekend? Three days, probably millions of activations... what do M$ do to servers like those?
