Sony Vaio VGN-NS135E

    Hi all. Last November I bought this laptop in NYC. I tried to look for a BIOS at sony webpage but I've found nothing. I think the bios is an AMI APTIO (it says so in the BIOS configuration menu) but when I downloaded a flasher tools (for windows) from AMI's website and executed it (no flash yet, I've just executed it) my laptop froze and the cooler started going fast (you could hear it very loud). I had to take out the battery to turn off the laptop :S

    Well, my question is, has anyone tried to mod this laptop?. Thanks.

    Again me. Nobody knows anything about my BIOS. Are AMI Aptio Bioses moddable?

    NO APTIO bios is not moddable at this time. We have no MMtool to open it up. It is UEFI bios..

    You should see what UEFI means, and maybe it makes sense now...?

    Ok. Now I understand why my bios is not possible to be moded. Thanks.
