Sound crashes on browsers

    Today i have noticed that my sound crashes some times in internet explorer and google chrome !

    Windows sound still working so i find it strange o_O

    Maybe somebody can point me in the right direction.

    some new video formats have later codecs implemented for playback and it can happen that older versions simply cannot handle that new stuff which leads to a crash

    You are proberly correct did update the codecs but the problem remains did a SFC /scannow and here is the result

    I think my system has troubles i guess :D

    Update think my windows sound device is broken after being iddle for a while it stops function like it should no sound !! when I disable in sound settings and enable again my sound is back !

    Anybody got ideas ?

    Btw got creative soundblaster ZX and reinstalled latest drivers

    technically, it can occur that a bad capacitor or other hardware device breaks but you said that it performs some good videos and sometimes it does not. So my obscure speculation leads me to that it is no hardware related issue ... anyway

    Yeah Paul hardware is good indeed I did refresh install with windows enterprise update 1 iso it seems te be working allright now so problem solved I guess thx for the input :biggrin:
