It will be the same Beta build that will be released next month that's already has been leaked this past week. There won't be a new build, not for another 2-3 months.
steven, that's interesting, but doesn't really make sense considering that the current beta was built on Jun 4. Where did you see what you're saying confirmed? MS typically releases to a small group, tweaks, and then releases something else to the public, so this comes as a surprise, particularly since the word on the street is late July. Surely they'd have improvements to make in that time that they'd want the public to see. Two or three months after that should be RTM, which is certainly a new build alright.
Well i could be wrong, but I'm only guessing on past development of service packs from MS, and they usually don't change or release a new build after it reaches a certain milestone (in our case Beta), and then move onto the next development milestone which could be either Beta 2 or RC, but who's to say, MS can always change their ways, they always do just to throw us off and leaving all of us having to guess again. But i think your right about the RTM version being out in October (or maybe November.)
The longer they take to polish it the better. Every time they release a service pack, they do 10 more patches next week, heh.
I wish I had the better version lol... As for Steven its a Beta so by def it will be patched like anything that is called beta will be... Also MS may be slow but its goin to work on this even thou it should take its time to polish it just look to see what happens when that don't happen aka vista... Also testing it is especially important cause if it don't work it shouldn't be released to the market (apple comes to mind)....
May I ask what method you used for integration? Is it the reverse integration method? Can't help you on hosting them though How about a torrent?
Just checked this. When I try to close the handle found in System process it shows: Error opening process: The handle is invalid. But the handle stays active and locked. EDIT: OMG! I just found out what's causing it... "Application Experience" service. I had it set to disabled when "tweaking" the services. Now I read on blackviper that "a bug may exist with this service disabled", which describes the issue I was experiencing. Set the service back to manual and it ran once upon opening a folder and now the bug is gone Pfew, I should be more careful with the services
SoLoR ! Thanks for ISO a file. And this file can offer? 7601.16562.100603-1800_x64fre_server_langpacks_1-GB1SXLP1_DVD.iso
Great, thanks! I will seed as long as possible. Though I have a few questions on this release: did you alter anything else beside SP1 integration? Is it pre-activated? Also, is there a way to delete the SP1 backup files after install?
Nope, it's an untouched SP1 Beta version, so you will have to use a loader to activate windows, and as for your second question, there is no backup rtm files that sp1 beta saves, so there is no need to delete anything, the only downside is you won't be able to uninstall the beta when a newer version gets released or leaked.
Both those files are not in the Service Pack, the only way to delete the backup files is to use either dism or MS disk cleanup tool, here's what you type to remove the backup files:- Code: dism /image:c:\offline /cleanup-image /spsuperseded
Ok thanks, but wim has a "spsuperseded" argument?? Then there must be some hidden way to slipstream it into a mounted wim rather than reverse integration I think.
