No it will not autoupdate. Beta/RC service packs can have updates, but only major security updates and only with officially released betas/RC's, like with Vista. Even in the case of an officially released beta/RC its not recommended to run it except for purely test reasons (useful for system administrators). If you really want the latest updates, use the leaked hotfixes etc. Most of those that are eventually released go through unchanged from the leaked updates. Should also point out most updates are hotfixes which aren't available through Windowsupdate/Microsoftupdate or Microsoft download, even the official ones (they're only available via request).

Hey thanks for links, i am looking for the list of fixes included within SP! beta, they usually include an excel spreadsheet listing all the fixes, please could you provide a link for this file only?
anyone know of some updated links? all the ones listed here are removed from their hosts and the torrents are stagnent
I don't think you'd want to bother with that build when 7601.16562.100603-1800 is officially out (if not leaked yet).
