Hello, I am searching for a Windows based iSCSI target solution here. Some are free but limited especially for the testing I was to do which is failover and redundancy. I have seen Starwind/Rocketdivision iSCSI, a couple hacks from NULL and BEAN (Which fail) and also some open source solution like FreeNAS and Opefiler. I really want to avoid linux because I am worried in the event of a hard failure I wouldn't have a clue how to mount a linux disk and retrieve/extract the info. Sticking with the familiar here. If anyone has traveled down this road and has some suggestions I am all ears... err, eyes I mean. Thanks!
Hi, Starwind is really the best you can find. But I know two other products : - iStorage Server - Nimbus MySAN (maybe more difficult to find). Hope this helps.
