I have just hit 10 weeks now without a smoke I would have agreed with before trying to stop this time. In the past every time I have stopped I allays believed that it had to be will power alone. This time I found it so hard on will power that I didn't think I could go through it again so I got some Nicotine lozenges first 2 weeks they didn't do much and I found myself having 1 or 2 smokes a day still. After procrastinating for 2 more weeks I extinguished my last smoke Just over 10 weeks now but I still am using the lozenges so for me they have made a bit easier this time around All I have to do now stay quit in my mid 40s now so need to try undo some of the 30 years of smoking damage.
Nearly 7 months I've quit now, been using my 'extremely dangerous as untested' electronic vaping device (gotta love the government). My doctor says I now have the fitness more like a 20 year old as opposed to a 40 year old when I last saw her. since I quit smoking I cycle, jog and swim. Before I couldn't even go for a walk without panting. Now I cycle roughly 10-14 miles a day without an issue. Since my paps passed away due to smoking I thought to myself "I'm being a complete twat, what would he think.", this was willpower enough for anyone, I stopped smoking, i've never smoked since and never will again. To think, I must have stank before, when I come in close proximity to a smoker I think dayyyyuuum you need a wash
Hey! Smoking is very bad habit and its not easy to quit it.But if you want quit it so you are successful to quit this bad habit.Because smoking is bad for health and damage your brain and lungs. Best of luck.

cigarette is appealing, i'd say. my friend decided to quit smoking when he's sick. of course he made it, because he wanna live. people stop harming themselves only when it comes to their lives or death. we all know it's hard. so, good luck.

I am just over 7 months now since I stopped Got the flue 5 weeks ago it turned into a nasty bronchitis infection took 3 weeks to get over it Dr seems to think it was all the crap 35 years of smoking that made it that bad Makes me realise the damage I must of been doing to myself and how there's no way I could start again.
Stop smoking is truly a difficult thing, just like lose weight, you really want to stop eating .but when you are hungry , can't help eating more. the most important for both of give up smoking and lose weight is that you should have willpower and persistence. Of course you need somthing external force to help you do that. i think the gum or Peppermint Candy is a great for you to transfer your attention to want to smoke.when you can't contaol yourself,maybe you can chew a piece of gum or eat a Peppermint Candy,that will help a lot. most of people can't help smoking cause they get much pressure.so you have to alway keep relexing and relex you mind. keep a good state. I believe you can do that .just try your best and do it.
If you really want to quit it ,you will do it .The reason why you can't make it ,it is you don't have determination.My BF smoking makes me upset ,we have much quarrel .He knows it's bad for our relationship and his body ,but he can't quit it . Maybe it's not the time he make his mind. same to you
