    Hi,

while installing Windows-updates, the activation was gone (popup window and notice in the right corner of desktop). After restarting, it was still deactivated and the desktop was black.
Strange: SLIC Toolkit V3.2 shows all green, SLIC found, Key found and cert found. I removed the key and installed cert and the same key as before, Windows is activated again. ;)

But this is weird. I'm sure that no virus or malware is on this computer.

    -Foxconn-Mainboard with Dell-SLIC 2.1
    -Windows 7 Pro 64bit
-SLIC Toolkit V3.2 shows "no SLP1.0" and vendor is "Foxconn" instead aof Dell (doesn't matter, right?)

So, is it known, that some Windows-updates remove activation of SLP-computers? My laptop got the same updates (same OS) and was never deactivated.

    Thanks!
I did the updates at last weekend (27/28 january), it was the first run until one month. I'll check if the KB3004394 is in the update history.

Update: KB3004394 was installed and caused the problem.

    Problem fixed with new activation.
