Normally this doesn't take that long to get to the next part but this time around it's been stuck there for the last hour. I did some Googling and people have had to wait hours and hours with no result and others suggest disabling AV and other security software like Windows Defender etc. I have Kaspersky Total Security on my system although I paused protection before launching the installer. I would rather not do a fresh install if at all possible. The hard disk light is thrashing away still on and off. Nothing is ever straightforward
