In case someone needs to switch VMware Player 6 or 7 from "Free" to "Pro": Just found out that serials from the other product "VMware Fusion" will be accepted by the Player and activate Pro functionality Tested with Player version 6 and the newest version 7. Google for the corresponding Fusion 6 / Fusion 7 keys and you are set.
