anyone got a preference or reason as to why theres now a win and win 11 boot cd, whats the advantage , I would have thought 10 was more compatible? I've noticed less default driver support in standard winpe in win11 than was in 10 which seems counter productive and is annoying
is there anything special about the ghost boot iso files? I just add the binaries to my wims which works for me, but I am curious about their boot.wim files and iso files...
stayboogy, Nothing special! Dependencies (required files, mostly cluster libraries and api's) are part of the standard vanilla PE exported form ADK. Ghost binaries will work by simply adding them to any WinPE including those created with 3rd-party builders as Win10PESE or Win10XPE. No extra files needed at all!
that is what I do already, was just curious if there was any added extra benefit of using the symantec boot iso / wim files. thanks friend
How to generate iso bootcd from symantec_deploymentsolution_8_7_2_x64.msi ? Because I would like to integrate various drivers to iso
When I try to make the bootcd image. I have an error in Bootwizd.exe This is the error: Could not insert package into wim file
