Ghost 12.0.0.11761 still doesn't know how to work with 4k sector drives. :bash:

    Just tested it.

I guess only the 4kn (native) ones. 512e (4k→512 translated alias AF) should work.

yep this is full of s..t (at least the linux version). Every time i try to create an image from my nvme linux ext3 partition, it breaks the image.
will wait for next version as 3.3.13 seems to be out
    lol!

I'm still wishing for the 3.3.13 - has anyone seen a trial version?

This is why I always install it in a VM, in order for me to just extract the .exe files - which I then use in my own WinPE ISO files.

One can also get the latest Ghost files using the "Altiris route".
They are the same files and versions as in GSS.
I can explain, if anyone is interested. It's a bit of a process though.

Don't use the WinPE from here, I extracted the binaries directly after installing, but even so, just installing it damages it.

    Tech Enthusiasts' Friendly Reminder 2026!

I followed the tutorial step by step to the letter—only to couldn’t for the life of me locate that crucial MSI file!

Spent ages rummaging through every nook and cranny of my hard drives…

Turns out, right after downloading the installer, it was secretly ️ tucked away in the installation directory of 「Symantec Installation Manager」!

    The exact path is below:

    D:\Altiris\Symantec Installation Manager\Installs\Altiris\symantec_deploymentsolution_8_8_x64.msi

Finally found it and extracted it—phew!

Just wanted to share this little tip, so the next person doesn’t end up in the same frustrating "file-hunting wild goose chase" as me~

    Wishing everyone smooth extractions!
