take ownership vs enable administrator(Solved)

    Thanks. This is a bit unfamiliar to me, so let me see if I've got that straight.

    If I'm in Windows 7 and want to get something from a Windows 10 system folder,

    1. Open Regedit on Windows 7. Select HKLM.
    2. From the File menu, select Load hive, go to the partition where Windows 10 is installed, browse to USERS\username folder, select NTUSER.DAT and click OK.

    Similarly for the opposite case.

    Is this correct?
