Vopt

Vopt is a disk defragmenting software that I have used for years


I do not use Vopt on my SSD but I still use Vopt to occasionally defrag my larger capacity platter drives. With the passing of co-founder Howard Emerson, Goldenbow is giving away a free license of the Vopt 9 software.

And yes Joe, it did work well on that 4TB hard drive which is over 90% full.
( OK, just did the math. It is 98.0392% full )
Windows 7 built in defrag choked at about 5%, Defraggler choked at about 30%.
This is the first defrag program to actually complete defragging that drive, and it only took about 4 hours.
