Defrqmentation still matters even on SSD on some scenarios like VHD booting via GRUB4DOS.. There are nice single file defragmenter for that, like wcontig, but if your SSD is superfragmented wcontig can't find enough contiguous sectors. In that case a good Defrag SW is one of the ways to solve the problem quickly
I never done thorough tests, but I was never fully convinced that defragmenteation is 100% useless on SSDs. Usually when sheep keep parroting the same sentences about "something", it means that the sentences are wrong, or at least that needs further investigation. Perhaps while people always right do not exist, people always wrong are a thing. Just notice who started the debate and draw your conclusions...
