    does the win 8 DP end some time or can I use it forever just not get updates?
    I really want to know.:D

    I think the WDP will end on March 2012 because of timebomb.....

    well what I'm trying to find out is will it go black screen or it will not get updates?
    like how?

    Like 7955 this Windows will restart every 2 hours and i guess no more updates....

    Its mean and so stupid to have restart 2 hours after xp date.:mad:
    but ya never know we will have to see what happens in 2012 I guess.o_O

    Man,I used all windows 8 leaks until now...and all,except 7850 M1 restarts after 2 hours after expiration date(timebomb)

    do we even know what .dll or .exe makes it do that?
    then we could take it out.

    Why are you so much concerned about the timebomb?
    Beta will be released before WDP expires.
    Who will use WDP when Beta is out?

    sorry guys, if i am not supposed to ask such questions here. im a noob, and i am trying to install this using vmware, is this possible? also, when i first attempted, it asked me for an unattended ... something or another, an .xml file? im assuming this has something to do with the serial? sorry again, lol. id like to try this out to see what its like, without resorting to a clean install and losing my entire os... again. any help would be appreciated. not sure if it would have been welcomed to start a thread on this.

    you say that windows 8 wont require activation. What happens when the final release is out. Will the developmental builds quit working?

    if it's like the Win7 prereleases, it will restart from time to time after 03/08/2012 (WDP's expiration date)

    That was with the build 7955 also....BTW the Beta perhaps will be launched in time....

    I dunno believe it, better rename Windows 8 chit chat section, so our master has more free time.... :D
