I went to PDX yesterday-I didn't even bother getting shots of TSA. I'm not that in need of a cavity search...
I wanted to wait for a least a couple of more posts before I added more....but I couldn't hold these shots back
Been following this thread for a while. A LOT of very nice art has been uploaded.. I, also, am a fairly serious hobbyist (since film days). My first camera as a kid was a Minolta maxxum 5. My daughter has been expressing strong interest so I have picked her up a relatively inexpensive DSLR (d3100) that can use some of my nikkor lenses. The following are from a recent outing we took to the beach in the morning and then to a park in the afternoon. We shoot RAW so the major PP is in resizing and converting to JPEG. Some vignetting for effect, but no big exposure or color corrections. I have a LOT of moon shots also, I like the moon, it is challenging to expose correctly and I usually shoot freehand. Forgot: I use D90 and Canon 60D..Also have an Olympus E-510 that takes great pics.. These are from Charleston, SC Thanks for the opportunity to share!!!
Some shots of winter sport in Oberjoch in southern Germany. It is amazing how fast the weather can change in the mountains. At one moment you can see the top of the mountain and after 10 minutes is all you see white, nothing more. Or maybe even a layer above your head as seen in one photo. Took the photo's with Lumia 920 and I found them amazing good for a mobile. Also I took this photo's directly from Facebook which did lowered the quality of the shots itself.
We'll see in the future.....its the same thing people were telling me that BMW are expensive in maintenance and they brake more often. After 11 years I say it's BS, it really depends who is driving it
Or it depends on how much you drive it, if you are trucking 3/4 the time and driving it 1/4 then you should be ok.
