I've had these 3 blocked in hosts file for few months (which i do not think is working due to hardcoded whitelist by MS in .dll), but windows update has been working.

 

Can these whitelisted domains be blocked successfully by using a firewall?

 

I feel like the startup time has increased a bit after using this. Anyone else feel the same? What can i do to remove this without fully reinstalling windows

 

Kindly share the link for the tool or script that will make windows 10 private n block updates.

 

I found using this with hostman solved all my ad issues with Microsoft. Some of us want to use Microsoft Solitary, but without the ads.

I just ran the program and it has put some sites in my HOSTS file for blocking , but which services it has blocked?
after running this tool windows update is also blocked?

the above three sites are in hosts added as well by the tool.

It is ok , but i made a restore point before running the tool and later on used to restore back , but it didnt get the tiles back on the start menu .

 

I've added these 3 to my hosts file besides the ones that are on first post.

I've found some "akamai" related but i guess that has nothing to do with Microsoft so i didn't include them.
