Are the metro apps translated in these new offical language builds by wzor or are they in english language? Because when intergrating a language pack into the english-US Windows 8.1 ISO, the result is english metro apps. When installing the en-US ISO and then manually installing the language pack over it, the result is english metro apps.
I am a little surprised for Surface RT itself. However, I am glad and thankful that this wasn't released into the wild without precautions and making sure we are not wasting our time with trying to install this over and over again not knowing why it's not working. Great news and thanks to WZOR of course. I expected that I would not be able to upgrade from 8.0 and was prepared to install fresh without keeping settings or apps from a USB thumb drive. Done this several times going back to 8.0 from the 8.1 Preview already....
An even more important question then that. Is Windows 8.1 meant to go on the next gen Surface? And with the Windows RT API being merged into Windows 8.1 does that mean Windows RT will be faded out due to its poor marketing performance?
Can we get Win8.1 Enterprise versions which are not listed in some languages? For ex Win8.1 Enterprise x64 Turkish
That would depend on our Russian friends and their access to other languages for enterprise. We only have a list of what they release to everyone.
What I don't understand is in which form will Windows RT 8.1 be leaked... If it's a MS stock ISO, then it won't be bootable, and if it is then there's no point in making it bootable if there are no preinstalled drivers. So it's either a modified ISO which can be booted through recovery, or it's the dump of the recovery drive made through an Officially updated Surface RT, which would be awesome...
That is a great idea for Surface RT. Once 8.1 RTM for RT is installed that person can create a bootable recovery drive and make it available for everybody. Not sure why 8.1 RT, plus manual, plus drivers - possibly no access to a Surface RT?
