The Windows 8.1 (& related) Repository

The rules on the forum allow no hand made ISOs only ones that are able to be verified with official Sha 1 checksum .. Anything with a date prior to !0/17/2013 and claims to have rollup A would be handmade and not allowed to be shared here ..

 

Installed Windows 8.1 Pro from MLF_X18-96655.ISO (with my native language included) and there is no "add features" function to get Media Center via Microsoft website.

I guess I should install Windows 8.1 Preview (WindowsBlue-ClientwithApps-64bit-English-X1899605.iso) first and then update to Windows 8.1 at "ms-windows-store:WindowsUpgrade" site where "add features" should be included.

You can find them shown by LostED. All the Retail versions (Multiple Editions) are from 9/9/2013 and don´t have GA update. And it seems that M$ don´t update them.
The only versions updated with GA update are windows 8.1 VL versions and Enterprise, and these you can find here to download.

right. Volume versions do not have this feature

 

BTW, I was wondering if it would be possible that M$ releases in the near future Retail GA Rollup isos. Anyway, I guess there's no big difference between those relesaes: RTM and 10/17/2012 GA Rollup, I believe RTM could be updated flawless anytime via WU.

 

Yes..It can be..It's useless to harp for GA updated ISOs as after each Patch Tuesday they are not latest anymore

Is there a Windows 8.1 Pro WMC ISO yet somewhere?

 

WMC is an added feature from Windows 8 on so any ISO which contains it won't be an official ISO with an official Sha 1 (checksum) to check .. Such an ISO according to the forum rules can't be shared here on this forum so you won't find it here ..
