A bit confused 1. Whats the difference between Volume and Enterprise? They both take KMS activation? 2. I see Rollup in the filename, what does it mean? Can this be used to make a fresh install?
1. Apples and oranges. Volume is a licensing channel, and Enterprise is an Windows SKU (aka edition). VL ISOs do have a GVLK (KMS client) key embedded. 2. Rollup means there are certain updates already integrated into the ISO. Less Windows updates to download.
sorry to say but enterprises also can be activated by using the appropriate key, which you get when you have a MSDN acc for example
Can I activate Windows 8.1 Pro VL also with Retail key ? What is better to have today, AIO with Retail versions of Windows 8.1, or AIO with VL versions only ?
Strange but on my desktop 8.1 embedded enterprise x64 work better than any other 8.1 pro or enterprise edition , so kudos to EFA11
So, I've been using the Evaluation copy of Windows 8.1 build 9600, From what I know, it will expire on Jan 14/15 2014. I had used an activator before, which used tokens and stuff to activate. Now I'm getting the annoying popup which says my Windows Evaluation copy is about to expire and once it does the PC will restart every 2 hours! Any suggestions? Ideas? Fixes?
