Uh, my utorrent doesn't have a magnet link button? Not that I can find anywhere atleast.

 

If a torrent client is installed copy the magnet to search bar of your browser and <ENTER>, client should open .

 

Both my internet browsers (safari and chrome) just bring me to a search engine
I'm on a mac atm (building pc, hence why i need the windows ISO), but I can't get the torrent started

Yeah that works. But with Win 8 from your thread I have to enter the key during installation. Is this new in every version?

 

Then start in your client via file/add link to torrent (or similiar).

 

This is what I couldn't find out how to do in my first post. In Paul's magnetic MSDN Jukebox tutorial/help thread he uses a blue arrow to point where you add your magnet file (which I assume is just the magnet link?). I don't have that button in my uTorrent though..

 

client I mentioned is utorrent. Other clients might have different places to put the magnet link into

edit: oh overred that you are using utorrent so it must be there as shown

 

What version of µTorrent? Old 1.x and 2.x versions didn't have magnet: support AFAIK.

With a recent µT, use File - Add Torrent from URL or CTRL+U.
