I have a Homtech Alfa 10RX tablet (Rockchip RK3066 4X-ARM Cortex A35, 2GB RAM). I want to install Windows to it. Is is possible? If yes, how can I do it?

hmm after a lot of thinking I decided to retire my beloved Windows 8.1 at once I already knew that this would be inevitable really Windows 10 is here to stay it is as if a little ant wanted to fight with an elephant so I deleted everything I had stored for this version of Windows ;):weep:

Windows 8.1 is still supported until January 10, 2023. Unless you buy a new computer before that deadline, or your current CPU and graphics are powerful enough to run Windows 10 without slowdowns, there's no problem in holding on to Windows 8.1 in the 3 years to come.

As long as programs keep supporting Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1, I don't really see the point in upgrading slower/older computers to Windows 10, and even if needed, Windows 10 LTSB is probably the better option since it's lighter and has no bloatware.

I don't care about EOLs nor Windows updates, I've used Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP3 and 7 SP1 without updates for years, and in over 20 years of using computers I never got exploited/hacked, just the occasional virus here and there back in the days of DOS and Windows 9x/2000 when I didn't use antivirus. I'm still on Windows 10 v1709 with no updates, all I do nowadays is use an updater browser and antivirus, and I only upgrade to the latest Windows 10 version when I do a clean install, which I haven't done in 2 years. Wow, as it been so long!?

ok good post i understand, i just disagree about old computer since mine is very modern and was designed for Windows 10; I'm still seriously thinking about building a new machine to run Windows 2k sp4 and XP just for fun :D:p

I didn't know what type of computer you had, so I guessed it was not that new.

Windows 2000 is probably very outdated by now, I would stick with Windows XP, although mainstream browsers already dropped support for it and most free Antivirus too, but for offline use it's probably the best option.

I had a bunch of dual core laptops stored away that I fixed over time but didn't have use for them, so I installed XP+7, and they served nicely for a mini-lan party running 4 Model 2 Emulators + Daytona USA with 2 steering wheels for PC, 1 for PS2/PC and 1 for PS1 with USB adapter. Next parties: GZDoom with co-op, Half-Life, Quake, and the list goes on!

I have a question, does the latest Windows RT 8.1 image include Office 2013 RT?
Since I was wondering if it would be possible to extract it from the image, and run it on Windows 10 for ARM.
