1) Is very best start with original image, because old update remaining in install.wim and the file size unnecessarily increases.
2) Install Pending is normal, during installation these updates are applied. Not delay in any way the installation time

 

os build number is determind with ntoskrnl.exe version, not explorer.exe

 

with the file ntoskrnl.exe, now my build is 16404 and not 16408.

To activate with some sort of kms emulators/slmgr or something? cause i know win8 retail cant be activated without valid key so iv assumed its the same for 8.1 (or doesn't it?)

 

8 can be done with MTK and does not require anything like 8.1

8.1 is a new beast and uses KMS V6 and cannot be activated currently, 8 uses KMS V5.

 

So theres still no of these available to download or a svf patch?

That prathaprabhu guy seems to have them all but i'm not going there again with him!! Made that stupid mistake last year lol

 

If you need a VL Pro and can't find one, just install with retail/OEM media and insert a VL key. This has been the case since Vista days.

Well, this was not a retail key.

 

Currently only in your dream you can activate Windows 8.1 Pro VL / Enterprise.

 

You and me both, he tells me that I need to buy a premium acct on fileparadox to download his ISO's, then he refuses to give me the passwords for the ones I want (the 4 en_gb ones that everyone seems to be looking for).

He's a scam artist, stay away.
