if this question was not answered yet, I only can tell you that VL versions are used in business environments where deployment is done by It pros. Activation normally is handled through central IT management for all machines in that company preferably using KMS for large environment or MAK keys. Home user does not need it because core/pro is made for him/her The beauty of VL version is that you can activate it by using online server KMS or local (if available MTK or KMSpico)
I saw today that only Enterprise and Pro VL (Pt-BR) were updated until now. Windows 8.1 Pro are available only the older version from 09.09.13. It seems we have to wait a little bit more for Pro (updated).
Do you have one of these: pt_windows_8_1_pro_vl_x86_dvd_2791845.iso pt_windows_8_1_pro_vl_x64_dvd_2791435.iso pt_windows_8_1_pro_vl_x86_dvd_2972662.iso pt_windows_8_1_pro_vl_x64_dvd_2972028.iso ?
Agree. Be aware of such links of fileparadox, AFAIK they're english versions with language packs. I don't have it for certain but somebody told me that on another forum.
