The Speciality USB Thin client starts at $89 I am really interested to see what activation they are using on the Non-Academic version, SLP OEM key or Activation required OEM Key. Anybody have any Info. Also found with the Academic version that I downloaded just enter any 6 digits to install Multipoint CAL, Maximum number of CAL's is 24 for some reason
Could somebody be so kind as to post the EditionID of this edition? If youre not sure where to find it open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, Microsoft, Windows NT, CurrentVersion Under CurrentVersion there will be an entry named 'EditionID'. Doubleclick it so you can copy the value. Thank you.
Sorry some rule about posting links blablabla No time to make up crap to get a post count of 20 Microsoft download Center>Search Multipoint Server> Evalution Copy of MPS 2011>Complete the Registration You have an initial 60 days to evaluate this software. The evaluation version can be turned into a full production version by entering in your purchased key or VL agreement, so there is no need for re-installation.

Nope, only MAK and CSVLK (KMS-host) keys are common with HPC/Web editions (btw, they are A-type, which means all higher-type volume keys - for St/Enterprise or Datacenter/IA64 will also work on MPS). GVLK, Retail and all OEM types of keys are directly specific for MPS. I believe 2010 and 2011 editions are the same, concerning activation keys.
