    The server iso in your quote = MSV = oemret.

    it is SAC FRE (usual no ei.cfg - FRE means shared betwen FPP/OEM/CCP)
    Volume versions are only on vlsc (and differ only slightly)
    Volume versions usually have an a ei.cfg file (wich anable the vol channel) and a different dvd Lable VOL

    Hi,

    I'm trying to search on 'SAC FRE' or ei.cfg, to understand your response. But the search forum says that the search arguments are too short.

    Can you share a link that provides more info on this?

    Looking for english windows storage server 2016 std has anyone got a working download link or can point me in the right direction?

    I have googled & searched & figured id just ask you guys.

    Do I need a product key to install WS2016 or can I skip that part in the installation then use MSTK to activate?

    I'm not asked for any key when installing Server 2019 (it presents the 4 choices). It's actually easy to test without actually having to install.
