yes i downloaded the uncompressed version does say corrupt irchive but you can still extract them right click on file select extract files when extraction windows comes up just tick keep broken files or just download the compressed version, no errors in that one.

Thanks. I was just reporting it. We had already used the compressed one.

OEM BIOS Archive contains the sets of 4 files named OEMBIOS.BI_, OEMBIOS.CA_, OEMBIOS.DA_, OEMBIOS.SI_. of all OEM manufacturers.
If you patch your (VMware) BIOS with for instance Alienware SLIP, than you need the corresponding Alienware OEMBIOS files from the Archive in your OEM copy of Windows XP Pro, or to convert your VLK/Corporate copy of Windows XP Pro to the right OEM copy. (Unless your OEM copy of Windows was already from Alienware of course).

You have to have oembios files present from the XP install.. The programs have absolutely NOTHING to do with the Bios file for the mainboard..:D

These programs are to validate and prepare the files to activate the OS. You are misunderstanding their purpose.

To add the slp to the bios, you need the SLP tatoo cd or usb programs. IN THE STICKIES!!!!
