Yes...You can run "oembios.exe" in dos..actually the best way to find correct slp string is to run it in dos

Just search in the forum for a bootable DOS CD,and then add the OEMBIOS.exe to that image..and then run it when your PC boot into dos

The windows key is added to winnt.sif file that you copy to i386 folder so it should not be asking for key if it does and you just click next then it install but is not activated it just means that the manufacturer needs it's own OEM SLP key and not the M$ one.

download VLK and OEMBIOS changer run it to unpack it and check out C:\OEMBIOS changer\Activation check and Serial tools folder :) for keys.

    Hi guys,

I've been searching the forum for a tutorial or somthing like that, about to make a clean install and make it OEM activated...
I prefer BIOS flash, works fine for me (Win 7 and Server 2008).
Can't find it for XP... BIOS-mod is not the problem, but what is the right procedure for installing and activating?

Thnx (sory if i'm in the wrong threat...)

Is it even possible to clean install without a modified xp-cd with the right oembios file in it?
I mean install with a (non-modded) retail or msdn cd (is msdn the same as volume license)?
