ok managed to extract twice but when i double click it , it opens a command prompt type window but then closes again after a couple of seconds . this is an epox board so maybe no slp 1.0 ? perhaps ?
First open a command prompt, then browse to the executable and launch it from there, the command prompt should stay open using it this way
ok it says that none of the 106 oem bios sets will preactivate on my system or something to that effect .
ok i knew about bios mod requests for 2.0 and 2.1 didnt know that i could request 1.0 string . is this done here in the windows xp section ? and could i please have a link to do some reading on the hp tatoo cd . thanks
Depends on the SLP(s) you would like to have. SLP in the DMI can use the boot disc, Dell needs to use the mod tool at least, others are only possible manually.
