Not sure if this is the right place to ask, is it possible to achieve a XP offline OEM activation without making a OEM DVD?
Which is similar to how vista/7, placing the right files at the right directory....

They may be in the $OEM$ folder if present or simply in the I386 folder. All four OEMBIOS files are there for sure..

    Hello again from Germany!!

Im running a couple of noname computers, all have ASUS boards inside. Will those OEMBIOS-Files and the royality key work on those machines too??

    thx for you support!!

One more issue: im running one older MEDION Pc, was called "Lifetec" and the OEMBIOS and Royality Key for MEDION failed. XP needs activation. How can I check the BIOS-String from thatr machine??

    best regards

    Peter

Nope. If it isnt there, then the OEMBIOS files are in the I386 folder..

Open the I386 folder on the disc, and there will be 4 OEMBIOS files compressed..decompress the OEMBIOS.CA_ file and see the CRC32 to compare..
