    You need to have the 'Create a DOS startup disk' option checked... else how would it be bootable?
    (use internal MS-DOS system files )

    can someone reup both DELL sets of compressed oembios files please. neither will load (others will though) at mediafire.

    Msi 880g-e45

    Does anyone know if the MSI oembios files will work with an MSI 880G-E45 out of the box (no moding)?

    I still have WinXP and paid good money for it and want to continue using it.

    I don't care about SLIP2.x

    hi:
    I have an Epox mobo with an award bios. there arent any oembios files (115 sets) for this mobo. how can I acquire it or can someone show me the procedure to extract it from the bios somehow?

    Only Manufacturer information is stored in the Bios the actual OEM BIOS files are on manufacturer xp installation cd or on the windows installation on hard drive. Also not every motherboard manufacturer uses oembios files.

    thx for info. so I cannot activate winXP which came pre-installed on this system? Epox is out of business. I dont have any winxp disc that came with it. other than the antiwat procedure is there any way to use medic911's oembios changer to activate winxp on this mobo?? regards...
