    @Flaiter

You need to add one by editing the DMI or modding the bios.

... Or try searching for already modded BIOS, someone might already have modded that BIOS with SLP for XP, SLIC 2.0 for Vista and/or SLIC 2.1 for 7 :D

Do you think tattoo plus OEMBIOS will work?
I mean, 'DMI Boot CD for Award-AMI-Intel BIOS (Add SLP1.0 w/o modding)' and then 'OEMBIOS tool (v1.1)'. (I'll appreciate very much a working link for the DMI Boot CD)
This is Phoenix - AwardBIOS in a MSI mother board; any problem because MSI ?

Use the HP OEMBIOS sets after you use the dmi boot cd to insert Hewlett-packard string. It will not affect the operation of the bios due to MSI board.

MSI strings will not work, there is no space in this bios to place the string. I have checked.

First of all, many thanks to you all for the comments and advise. So, if I understand you correctly, actions are:
1st: Use DMI Boot CD to insert HP string (tattooing it as HP).
2nd: Use OEMBIOS sets by using OEMBIOS Tool (OEMBIOS Tool will 'see' a HP machine and will complete the work).

UPDATE: MGADiag now says 'Genuine' THANKS YOU!

It's just astounding how many smart people there are in this world. I wanted to say thanks to everyone involved with this effort. I have an old machine that suffered a motherboard failure and was stuck in a loop all day yesterday trying various techniques to get going again until I discovered this thread and these tools. Now we're back in the saddle again.

    Fantastic. Thank you, thank you!

Unfortunately its not in the skydrive/onedrive as i have said (they only have MSI (OEMBIOS.CAT CRC32=CBD82950) in the onedrive), SLP_CHECKER says i need CRC32=E0A0735C, I wonder if i can use CRC32=CBD82950 ?

Merry Christmas and thanks for this very useful post and the huge effort behind it.
I occasionally do old branded pcs with oembios files from this post. Always worked perfectly up to now, but now I cannot download anymore.
Torrents don't seem alive and the skydrive link asks me to login. After creating an account and logging in, it says that the files no longer exist.
Any help would be appreciated. I currently need the DELL B6F0EEFD files.

Applied the files with OEMChange and voila! The old Dell comes back to life with fully activated and genuine OS.
    Thanks once more.
Any chance someone to reup the whole repository?

Why not use mega.co.nz? I just downloaded the file in minutes. Besides, userfiles.com is giving me the finger by showing just a blank page.

I hate downloading files from MEGA. It doesn't support my Blackberry Browser, Opera Mini, and UC Browser

    Or upload it to ge.tt / rghost with 200 MBs/parts :)
