That's what you get for trying to download files with an Android to use on a PC... have you tried installing the official Mega app? (I don't own one so I never tried it)
Excuse me, did I mention "Android" in my previous post? What i'm trying to say is that i can't download files from MEGA through my Blackberry Phone, so i want someone to please re-upload it as described in my previous post
I still don't get it you wan't to download files that can be used for pc activation but you do not have a p.c.
I tried at both these locations (ge.tt / rghost) and I couldnt make it happen..anywhere else you want me to try?
I have a laptop, ok? But i'm always downloading files, softwares through my Blackberry Phone first, then i'll move it to my laptop I want to download it to test Windows XP in Virtual Machine << for old softwares How about "Mirrorcreator" with "Zippyshare", "4shared", "Solidfiles", "Tusfiles" and "Dropbox" as the hosting sites
Hello sorry to bother people, i have searched this thread, but no result, i installed xp sp3 vlk untouched imaged from gogle group download link on here, works perfect, md5 check was correct used key from google i have loaded up oem bios test, but i am presented with 2 sets of .cat files F: Acer Incorporated oembios.cat crc32=717b6ef3 F: Genuine c&c inc oembios.cat crc32=8b2ebecb is there any particular reason why there are two options?, if so which would .cat oem bios file should i actually change to? kind regards
The Acer one is proper SLP string & the Genuine one most probably comes from 'Genuine Intel' string used by Intel. You can, however, use any OEMBIOS set between these two.
Thankyou sir, Really appreciate the quick reply, Think i will go with the acer i will atempt to do this now lol i assume if i run into this issue again on another machine it remains the same, you can choose either? Thankyou again! Kindest Regards
Thanks tito, ran into a little problem, if you or anyone could give me a hand on the instructions with the 0em bios changer it says Extract OEMBIOS Changer to any Drive (In this example C:\) Extract the Extract Uncompressed OEMBIOS file set which was previously downloaded to OEMBIOS changer\Uncompressed Oembios Folder (In this example C:\OEMBIOS changer\Uncompressed Oembios Folder) Run the OEM.exe file in OEMBIOS changer folder. (In this example C:\OEMBIOS changer\OEM.exe) Press Any Key Press 5 and Enter Press 3 and Enter Select the option according to your Windows XP Edition and Press Enter Press Y and Enter however on step 6 when pressing option 3 and getting to the end it says owmbios.cat is missing i notice my files are nnamed oembios.ca, i assume i could put these in the compressed folder? but on the instructions here The-Windows-XP-Repository thread it says Uncompressed only. Compressed file set are for those who are still to install Windows XP) however the files i have downloaded, seem to be in a compressed format even when downloaded/extracted? any help would be greatly appreciated! regards
Compressed files (BI_ CA_ DA_ SI_) are usually for those who want to add them to a CD/ISO. Uncompressed files (BIN CAT DAT SIG) are better for post-installation replacement. You can use both sets with OEMBIOS changer, just place them in the compressed/uncompressed folder according to the ones you have.
Thanks johnye, thats what i thought but the files on the [h=2]The Windows XP OEMBIOS Archive thread, (cant post link)[/h] are zipped up in the compressed way, so the resources are actually compressed? unless im looking in the wrong direction for the uncompressed files? anyhelp would be appreciated? if not, i will place in the compressed folder, but its just i wanted to follow instructions to a tee kind regards
If you have a ZIP/RAR/7z archive, extract it. If you get BI_ CA_ DA_ SI_ files, put them in the compressed folder. If you get BIN CAT DAT SIG files, put them in the uncompressed folder.
Hi Johnye, I think it's time to sync our archives. I can offer you the following sets: Spoiler Code: 9851DBEB2003Acer DE21FF362003Cisco C20D8FF52003Dell 8AB197002003Fujitsu CC6CB12C2003HP/Compaq 36E95D7A2003IBM F35DA4D22003IBM BDC9C9132003LaCie 4E61420C2003Lenovo 5B988ABF2003NEC 997359102003R2Dell FB6F8F082003R2Fujitsu/Siemens C0023D892003R2HP/Compaq D107C3EA2003R2HP/Compaq D05D250EWHSHP/Compaq FBE12C4BWHSHP/Compaq 717B6EF3WinXPAcer 700A8481WinXPAcer Travelmate 9433FB11WinXPActebis CE524ABDWinXPAlienware DF5C0058WinXPAmerican Future 3A887CB8WinXPAmoi Electronics 6FBD72DEWinXPAquarius 2411858CWinXPAsus B20C65BFWinXPAsus 9561A0BAWinXPAT Computers B55014F0WinXPBenQ BF5F3D34WinXPBrain Technology A5E32571WinXPCompaq 9271294AWinXPCPS/Channel Partner Solutions ABEC41A6WinXPDaewoo 63875D1FWinXPDell 87870F5AWinXPDell B6F0EEFDWinXPDell 467CC159WinXPDEPO Computers 221C8416WinXPDixons 8EE1223CWinXPEliteGroup 81DEFFBEWinXPElonex 4E00A936WinXPEmaxs 74163373WinXPEpson 0D59FC53WinXPEquus 8EC1892EWinXPErgo Computing A093BD92WinXPEvesham 3A0C0121WinXPFounder 9CF90CA8WinXPFujitsu D2D64C41WinXPFujitsu 10045CFAWinXPFujitsu/Siemens A04597C6WinXPGateway C86378C7WinXPGateway/eMachines 8B2EBECBWinXPGenuine C&C 6C0C2E95WinXPGigabyte 47E62C15WinXPGreatWall A94BE5EDWinXPHaier Computer 86B89546WinXPHANNspree 1C1187CBWinXPHasee 1713C756WinXPHCL Infosystems 162C7931WinXPHedy AE805BAEWinXPHi-Grade BE5CE5BDWinXPHitachi 06D652A4WinXPHP 3BA155E1WinXPHP CD4E1902WinXPHP/Compaq BB343342WinXPHyrican F5D08B5EWinXPHyunju D7A77612WinXPIBM 36EDE356WinXPiQon B489FBF9WinXPItautec 834156E5WinXPJooyon EA46807CWinXPJP Sá Couto B3F88133WinXPJVC E39B6289WinXPK-Systems 0F173609WinXPKohjinsha 2CD5F907WinXPKraftway FDAA5E8BWinXPLan Plus 7B06BD13WinXPLegend 5237B729WinXPLenovo 8D3A3465WinXPLG Electronics 89799F58WinXPMatsus**ta 608BC835WinXPMaxdata 06485F9DWinXPMedion 71631112WinXPMitsubishi DEBD653EWinXPMouse 03C3F848WinXPMPC CBD82950WinXPMSI E0A0735CWinXPMSI 2BFDC91EWinXPNCA Group 0B909427WinXPNEC/Packardbell 678752DCWinXPNEC/Packardbell E32D3612WinXPNEC/Packardbell 1EBD4D64WinXPOptima 458AE2C4WinXPOQO C90D5E01WinXPPositivo AA944D37WinXPPowerSpec/WinBook 9B5B2D15WinXPPremio DEE9D7D9WinXPResearch Machines plc EE505310WinXPRoline 26B94220WinXPRoverBook 91F00D40WinXPRoverBook 904CF15AWinXPSamsung B7FC8D93WinXPSeanix/Cicero 6A8B62B9WinXPSeneca 1E4E3937WinXPShanda 8432EB94WinXPSharp DB234D65WinXPShuttle 0344BCA3WinXPSiemens PG 376E13C7WinXPSony F08705E9WinXPSony E0766DE2WinXPSotec A49FD08FWinXPStone Computers 6EBE3B48WinXPSynnex 15367043WinXPSysfic 0378CC4EWinXPSystemax 9509CAD5WinXPSystemax D0F94E0DWinXPTarga 3B7A0685WinXPTarox D99F7B12WinXPTCL 44A210FBWinXPTekTronix 7EB9D890WinXPTime Computer A16F9D62WinXPToshiba E4143622WinXPToshiba DFD180D2WinXPTrigem 7870B3C6WinXPTsinghua Tongfang 6D264FD2WinXPViewSonic 7DFB4EA4WinXPViglen 5D99A970WinXPVPR Matrix 926481E4WinXPWanlida Computers B4FFCA38WinXPWindows Virtiual XP 88C5993EWinXPWolfNfox 515F564AWinXPWortmann FAA75AEDWinXPXPloreTech

The links for the OEMBIOS set at both Mega and Skydrive in the original post are dead so could someone revise this post with valid links so we don't have to search through dozens of pages looking for alternative links? I eventually found links to the OEMBIOS set at Solidfiles on page 73.
