1. Look at your Event Viewer (type event in the Search Box in the Start Menu) for any issues. The common places to look are under Windows Logs\Applications(for App crashes) and under Custom Views\Administrative Events(for driver issues). 2. Look in your Device Manager for any issues which will show as a Yellow Triangle. 3. Run the Performance Report by typing perfmon /report in the Start Menu Search Box. It will take about 60 seconds to run the test and generate the report. It will present resolutions if any issues are found. Here is a list of built in Find and Fix tools in Windows 7. Find and Fix audio recording problems 8. Find and Fix networking and connection problems 9. Find and fix printing problems 10. Identify and repair network problems By running any of these tools first you may be able to fix the issue on your own and save time as well. You should also use the forums search function to see if the issue you are having has already been addressed.
