Is there any way to remove the video whitelist on this bios so I can use a later video card? Been looking and it seems people gave up on this notebook years ago before you came along.

    Any help would be sweet.

    Thanks

    nc61xx & nx61xx + other 68DTD based models F.16 bios update sp45099 from 2009

nc61xx & nx61xx and other 68DTD rom based models also received a version F.16 bios update (sp45099.exe) after Vista came out in 2009, maybe it has some enhancements and you guys could look at & repack it.

Sorry, can't post a link to it as I need 20posts first...

Anyway thanks a lot for this :worthy:, I'm about to flash my nx6110 with F.14 :worthy:

    Hi,

I've installed nc4400 modded bios without whitelist (see here post 290 on this thread, can't insert link o_O ).

I installed an Intel 5100, and i must install the network card computer powered on. When the computer start, i pass the bios, and i stop the grub's timewait. I install the network card, and i continue booting. The network card work properly when the os is booted.
When i stop the computer ("halt" on Linux), the computer doesn't stop really, the power led is still green, and he consumes power. On battery, he consumes more like sleeping mode. I can restart the computer without problem, but whern stopping, the problem happens every times.

If i install the network card when the computer is off, power supply disconected, batteries removed, when i plug any power sources, the computer start automatically, fan at full speed, black screen blocked and the power led blink green/yellow.

It's really weird and annoying. I need WiFi n, because the wall of my house is thick (50" of 100% real stone, very old house). WiFi G doesn't work in every place, or with poor rates.

    Thank you for your help.

    Good morning,

first of all I apologize for disturbing and for my bad English. I have an HP 6715s and I need a BIOS with SLIC 2.1 inside (I don't need the Whitelist). Here we can found the latest BIOS, F.0E.

I've read lot of threads and posts but I haven't found a good way to understand how to modify the BIOS and how to install the certificate (I think that OPA Tools doesn't work)... I must use HPDMI?

Where I can find a good guide to modify the BIOS and to activate the certificate under Windows 7?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Best Regards,
    Matteo.

hi ,im a newbie in the world of bios flashing and i'm really at wits end with my pc.i have a hp tx2500z which went dead.i just simply turned it on to find a black screen with flashing Num and Caps lock leds which blinked twice to signify bios corruption according to hp code on their website.how do i flash the bios to recover it using a usb drive given the fact that it does boot up ITS JUST A BLACK SCREEN NO BACK-LIGHT AND FLASHING LED'S .i am thinking i need to create a bootable usb drive with the bios that will run unaided when the pc is switched on .But i dont know how to go about this i am really really desperate CAN ANYONE HELP ME o_O

Where can I find an update to my HP MS214 AIO PC? I know that there is one, because I downloaded a CNET update checker (that I thought would give me free updates), and there was an update. But the version didn't show, and it wasn't free.

My current BIOS is: Phoenix Technologies LTD V5.11 (08/28/2009). It is my hope that a BIOS update will give me a little more features, such as holding more RAM & hyperthreading.

One major difference between my HP AIO PC & my MSI FX603 notebook, was that the MSI had all recent updates & hardware at the time of purchase. The HP, was built mainly of leftover notebook components, some almost 3 years old, and it shows.
